Return Policy

1) Scope of application

This Policy applies to purchases made on the website inkwoodlab.com by consumers (natural persons acting for purposes unrelated to their professional activity). For B2B purchases made by “professionals”, the right of withdrawal described below does not apply, without prejudice to the protections relating to defective or non-conforming goods.

2) Right of withdrawal (14 days)

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier) acquire physical possession of the goods. In the case of multiple deliveries, the period runs from the delivery of the last item.

How to exercise the right of withdrawal

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must send Ink Wood Lab an explicit statement (for example by email) of your decision to withdraw. You can write to: info@inkwoodlab.com. You may use the Model withdrawal form provided below, but it is not mandatory.

3) Effects of withdrawal and refunds

  • If you withdraw, we will reimburse you all payments received, including standard delivery costs.
  • The refund will be made within 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
  • We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.
  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
  • Any extra delivery costs (for example express shipping) are non-refundable.

4) Return of goods

After notifying your withdrawal, you must send back the goods within 14 days. The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before the expiry of this period. Return shipping costs are borne by you. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

5) Reduction in value

If the goods have been handled more than necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct from the refund an amount corresponding to the reduction in value of the product.

6) Exceptions to withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made to measure or clearly personalized;
  • Other cases provided for by Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code (e.g. sealed goods not suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed).

Note: a wrong choice of model or color does not constitute an exception, unless the product is personalized.

7) Defective or non-conforming products – Legal warranty

Consumers are entitled to the legal warranty of conformity, valid for 2 years from delivery. You are entitled, free of charge, to repair or replacement of the defective product, or – if impossible or disproportionate – to a price reduction or termination of the contract. The defect must be reported within 2 months of discovery. To report a defect, please write to: info@inkwoodlab.com attaching a description and photos.

8) Dispute resolution (ADR)

The EU Commission’s ODR Platform was deactivated on July 20, 2025. In the event of a dispute, you may contact the national ADR bodies listed on the European Commission website, or the competent judicial authorities.
